LIFEGUARDS WANTED !
Have you always wanted to be a lifeguard?
Do you enjoy working outdoors and being around water?If so, this job is for you! The City of Kerrville is currently accepting applications for lifeguards to work at the Olympic Pool for the summer. Applicants must be at least sixteen years old and be able to work regularly from late May through the end of July, and occasionally through mid-August to assist with aquatic related Special Events. We also have a competitive Lifeguard Team that travels around the region to compete and show there skills. The Lifeguards are licensed with
and training is provided through the Parks & Recreation Department. The aquatics seasonal staff includes: pool manager, two assistant managers, lifeguard / swim instructors, and a cashier. Summer Registration Information
Registration for summer programs and activities begins May 1st each year. Register at the Parks Headquarters Office or online. Please see the perspective sections on the menu for the Aquatics, Athletics, Recreation and Special Events activities.
General Reservation Information
Unless designated otherwise, registrations and reservations will be accepted at the PARD Headquarters and online. Some items may not be available for online reservations. Registration deadlines are required for the majority of the activities. Park and Pool reservations require 48 hour advance notice. Reservations for Sundays must be made before 2:00 p.m. on the preceding Friday. Pre-registration is required unless otherwise designated. Please join us for a fun, safe and active year!
