The Solid Waste Division is responsible for the management of the City of Kerrville's solid waste collection and disposal operation. This includes:

• Curbside collection
• Municipal landfill operations
• Operation of the Community Recycling Center

The City of Kerrville owns a municipal landfill and contracts with Allied Waste, Inc. (formerly BFI)for the daily operation of the landfill. The city also contracts with Allied Waste, Inc. for curbside trash and recycling collection. The City of Kerrville is a partner in the Clean Texas Program of the Texas Commission Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
